F.R.E.E.
has the long term goal of changing the legislation in Florida so
as to give adult adoptees access to their unaltered original
birth certificates. Reaching this goal will take a lot of
time and a lot of money. It will take a serious commitment
on the part of everyone in our organization.
There
is a lot of work to be done, and we will need many
volunteers. If you would like to assist us in this effort,
no matter what your talents may be, we can use you. If you
can lick envelopes, write letters or emails, bake and sell
cakes, cookies and brownies, hold a yard sale, distribute
pamphlets, or speak to local organizations, we need you. Over
the course of the next several years we will be holding many
fund raising activities. We will also be engaged in activities
to educate the general public in the area of adoption and
adoptee rights. If
you support the idea of adoptees being given access to their
original birth certificates, a right that every other U.S.
